Ware is missing only because this is likely the best crop of running backs in the SEC since Hershel and Bo, and Ware shares carries so much that he's yet to eclipse 110 yards in a game. Lee's absence despite a weak crop of SEC QB's likely stems from the fact that, despite playing very well, he has yet to throw for over 220 yards in a single game this season.

not sleeping on Lee's worth,

More stats to wow you:

Number of Attempts per TD (QBs with 8 or more TDs, same as Lee) (aka, how many attempts it takes to get a TD pass out of the QB):
Bray 12.6
Murray 12.3
Wilson 17.3
Trotter 15.6
Lee 14.75
McCarron 18.75

Number of Attempts per INT (aka, how many attempts it takes to get an INT pass out of the QB):
Bray 88
Murray 26.6
Wilson 69.3
Trotter 23.5
Lee 118
McCarron 75

Don't confuse Les' desire to only throw the ball 20x a game with Lee not being a very good QB. He's playing great football. And, there is no reason to think he won't continue as the season progresses and if the coaches ask him to start throwing it more.

While I understand everyone deserves recognition for great play in this conference and having 3 LSU players on the list is awesome, you can't make me believe that Jarrett Lee doesn't deserve to be on this list. At least somewhere...

Absolutely, most certainly not.

These are terrible stats. It really says a LOT about the QB situation when the newfound JL for heisman homers are having to make up stats and explain what they are in parentheses just to show how "good he is." He is a product of our system, and isn't doing anything extraordinary. Don't confuse not screwing up with leading the team to victory every weekend.

Not a single person has argued he deserves the Heisman

Very much so. Obviously when you open it up nationally to all 120 schools you have the pick of the litter. I just have to imagine that the #1 team in the country has at least 2 on the team deserving of those honors.

Thank you! I agree... and I am not sure Wings numbers stack up, but they have to be close to the top for punters....

I haven't made up any stats. These stats show how often the best QBs in the SEC throw an INT and TD. I think they are relevant. And, we'll just have to agree to disagree on Lee. You think that he is a piss poor QB who just manages the system. I think that Les is holding him back and he has shown the last 3 years that he is more than capable of "leading the team to victory every weekend."

Every time we needed a game winning drive last year they put him in to do it. So, apparently the coaches think that he can lead us to victory.

I think that people are really minimizing how well Lee has played because our defense, run game, and special teams has been dominating most people's thoughts.

We have the 20th scoring offense in the country, second only to Arkansas in the SEC (by 0.7 of a point/game). We are averaging 10+ more points a game than each of the last 2 seasons. Through half the season, we have the same # of TD passes that we had all of last year.

But, just keep telling yourself that any QB could do it because he's a product of the system. Because it is pretty obvious that Jefferson couldn't do it.

Two people's opinion. All of these type lists are subjective. Only list that carries any weight is the NFL draft list and there are always a lot of mistakes made there also.

OL: Chris Faulk, Lonergan, Blackwell
TB: Spencer Ware
QB: Jarret Lee

DL: Brockers
DE: Montgomery
LB: None
CB: Claiborne, Mathieu, Simon
S: Reid, Taylor
P: Wing

If we take care of business, all of those kids will be All-SEC, either 1st, 2nd or 3rd team. Book it.

Dude,,., seriously?
It's idiotic to say any of those three have a case and Lee doesnt.
