I will take nothing away from SB because they played a great series. The ESPN commentators were so in love with SB that it seemed they were willing to give them the trophy after last nights game. I know ESPN hates LSU but come on!! I HATE ESPN more and more. Had to vent

Stony Brook came down to the Box and cleaned our clock. We've won 6 CWS titles in the last 20 yrs. Stony Brook went to the NIT two years ago for their athletic accomplishment. Why shouldn't ESPN talk them up ?

If you think they hate us you'd have to agree they like Duke basketball. They sure talked Lehigh up after they beat Duke in Greensboro last Spring.

GET OVER IT!!! They hit everything!!! We had 3 hits. They fielded just about every ball we hit, we couldn't catch up to balls in the outfield. What else do you want???

SB winning a super regional in BR is like Valpo making the elite eight in basketball but beating UNC at home to get there. It deserves to be talked about ...a lot.

Anyone other than LSU fans would have a legitimate complaint if ESPN had not been praising the play of SB in this series and throughout the season. For this 3 game series, except for the venue and the record-setting crowds, LSU looked the small-time program who had waded in over their heads this weekend.

SB kicked our butts. They should have beaten us in just 2 games. Although the scores of game 1 and 2 were close, we got out played big time in both games.

So I get it.

As a neutral observer, I actually thought ESPN was pulling for LSU. Prom the Noon pregame stories about SB not having enough pitching depth to the obvious disappointment when a long LSU drive was just foul or barely caught - seemed like the announcers really wanted LSU to win. Even some quote about "time for LSU late inning magic," etc.
