I guarantee that home plate call/replay will be replayed throughout tomorrow and maybe perhaps the weekend! The commentators will continually say how UCLA got screwed!

ESPN is pushing an agenda to who ever will listen...the PAC12 hasnt won a NC in years, there over the SEC dominating softball.

Couldn't care less what biased pieces of garbage of ESPN have to say about LSU. We won, which is all I care about. They play Florida next, and I can't wait for them to show the world that they will beat them. Looking forward to seeing them play tomorrow.

Yeah, I think it was posted in the game thread. It's obstruction if the catcher's knee touches the ground, which the UCLA catcher definitely did.

The catcher was on her knees and spread out literally completely in front of the plate in the base path before the ball was even caught.

That is certainly not any rule. And truth be told, it was a bad call now that we have the advantage of replay to make it. At game speed, I don't have much issue with it. With replay, horrible call.

So basically, the catcher stood in a spot directly in the path of the runner from third to the plate. The catcher never moved her feet from where she was standing while waiting for the throw, caught the ball and dropped directly down in Quinn's path to the plate. It's interference, and that's why it was an automatic call for the umpire.

Based on what in see in the bracket ... With the way the bracket flips, 2 sec teams can meet in the finals. Loser of LSU fla drops to the bottom of bracket. So the bracket stack argument doesn't really work out.

My cousin was a high school All-American softball player and played at Texas A&M. She would have played at LSU but this was before LSU had a team in the mid 90s. The biggest issue she and her parents always complained about in college softball was the female "gay" coaches. The reason she chose A&M was becauae they had a male coach, he was fired 2 years after she got there and they hired that manly looking female head coach they have now, so my cousin left A&M program.
