This was posted on the Score Board, and I maintain the same thing I said there:

NO WAY this is possible. The Saint's defense sucks, Alabama's doesnt.

Coaches get help from other coaches all the time. You would think with the best offense in NFL history 60 minutes from campus, Les would do the same.

The option can and will work. Jefferson just doesn't know how to run and execute it. Not even the basics.

Did he have Nick's permission? If not, then I would imagine Kirby is out the door for being disobedient.

Gregg Williams is one of the best defensive minds in the league. The Saints D doesn't "suck", but the problems they do have have everything to do with the front 7 and little to do with scheme, IMO.

Why would you consult Williams for the option? He doesn't really see it in the NFL to often.

You're entitled to your opinion ChuckM, but ESPN reported it as such.

Their plan was all out over pursuit. We did nothing to make them pay for it.

No it probably did not help Bama one bit. LSU ran the option so poorly anyone could have schemed against it.

My issue with the news is centered around the same fans support both teams and therefore indirectly pay Williams salary.

I did not like the Saints before but hate them now.

JJ ran the most predictable, obvious option plays. Doesn't take a genius to stop them. He would run a little, then pitch at the last minute to let the RB get fricking blasted.

you hate the saints, you hate America. LSU should've followed the old saying "adapt or die"

I am sure Saban needs the help.

Should have ran the play that perriloux ran a few years ago where he sprinted to the 8 hole like it was a run and then pulled up and passed. Anything like that would have been nice

You are suppose to pitch it at the last second. It's what he did before that screwed everything up.

I know. Could Kirby not get in touch with Saban for help.

If I had a time machine, other than the obvious, I would go back to when Saban was at Miami and bribe Brees to go to Miami instead of the Saints.

Saban would still be there and Bama would still suck.
