Kirby Smart says Gregg Williams of Saints helped w plan to contain option play

1) Is this legal? Does the NCAA have thoughts on this kind of consultation?

2) how is a Tigers/Saint's fan to take this other than self-loathing

3) Now we know who painted the 50 yard line on the Interstate in New Orleans. Maybe I won't mind if Williams takes that tampa job

So what?

Coaches get help from other coaches all the time. You would think with the best offense in NFL history 60 minutes from campus, Les would do the same.

Williams better figure out how to stop the rest of the playoff teams because that will be the reason New Orleans doesn't win a Super Bowl

If you watch the Saints defense you will realize that any advice given by Williams would not really help that much

That would be one ultimately fricked up thing to do. I can't see Peyton allowing it but if GW did that fck him to hell. Not that his f'n defense has been playing lights out anyway.

Anyone see the execution, or lack of execution? A peewee team could have stopped it! JJ took the defenders straight to the guy he was pitching too!

Pretty sure Miles got the help of someone to learn how to stop the triple option vs Georgia Tech.

If any of you dick heads actually think that made a difference then jump off a building. Any damn decent football coach knows how to stop and option. Keeping assignments/flooding gaps/widening the ends.

If he did I don't care. Maybe Miles should have asked Peyton how to score a fricking point.

If Alabama needed Greg Williams's help to stop LSU's option (which is the most poorly executed option I have ever seen) then I have lost all respect for Alabama's defensive coaching staff.

Such commentary would be more of a sad commentary on Alabama's coaching staff than an act of "treason" by the coach of a fellow Louisiana-based team.

What exactly did he do and has it been confirmed?
