I really think that he is completely gone now because CEO has his his mark on the Offensive Coordinator. I cannot be upset with the more balanced approach from Canada.

I know... we have not seen a tough opponent but I like what I have seen so far.

I bet they wouldn't. How many GMs would say last year's team had the same amount of NFL talent as the teams from 2003-2011 or 2012? I bet not one.

And we know exactly what about Mississippi State after they beat two absolute nobodies.

Wtf planet is everybody on? State went 5-7 last year and Fitzgerald was the damn QB. Now State has started 2-0 vs. 2 cupcakes which makes them 7-7 in their last 14 regular season games.

LSU has two top coordinators and two of the highest rated players in the country in Arden Key and Derrius Guice.

I have to think that if Dave Aranda can successfully scheme against Lamar Jackson he can handle Nick Fitzgerald.

Good grief.

Against 2 teams that are not close to our talent. Smart offenses run the ball with success when they have the lead

Agree 100%, but wouldn't be popping off about newfound balance when the play selection is like 75% run.

Look jackass, just take your annual arse whipping tomorrow and the whimper off until next year when we meet again.

Nick Fitzgerald meet Arden Key.

Hey LSUGROUPEE the talent level isn't bad, but it isn't good enough to keep 17 Freshman on the sideline either, the most since 2000.

The real test will come, of all places, in Starkville, Mississippi, where unranked Mississippi State hosts the team that has spent the past decade building us up just to let us down: LSU.

2016 38/25 R/P
2017 51/18 R/P.
Balance is in production, not in playcalling:

Against Chatt: 232 yds rushing, 222 yds passing
Thru 2 games: 518 yds rushing, 415 yds passing

The reason it's in production and not playcalling is because if you are attacking them (run the ball if playing pass) all it matters is yds gained. The more yds gained, the more sell out to prevent it going forward, then you "balance" your attack after they adjust.

Also you can be pass happy and not get yards (same for rushing, we're all familiar with that) and not just through incompletes. If you don't have time and quick-pass (short) you'll have a lot of throws but they may still be up and you're not moving chains. Your "balance" through play selection is all for naught and misleading.

And he was NOT that good. Gave away the Clemson game all by himself. Gave away the Ole Miss game all by himself. Gave away the Arkansas game, until Juice saved it with maybe the greatest catch I've ever seen. And that Arky game was lost when that errant pass left Mett's hand. Lastly, Mett failed to win the Georgia game when the ball was handed to him at the end.

That's a lot of fail for a guy who is "scary" good.

We, tiger fans, know all we need to know at this point. The media is playing right into the coaching staffs hands at this point and will continue to "not know" about LSU till we beat bama in a straight up game. And I'm fine with this. Why show everyone all our cards when we DONT have too?
