Probably why we were tied in the 4th quarter against bama, and around 3-1 total yards in 4th against Florida. Damn Jackson and guice against Florida.

LSU, since 2003, has been given the benefit of the doubt relative to rankings and predictions of wins more than it has frankly deserved.

LSU no longer has the benefit of the doubt. It must prove itself anew. Guess what, beating State will prove nothing.

LSU will not regain this benefit of the doubt until if wins the West (and likely the SEC outright).

They are trying to sell this game harder than a Floyd Mayweather fight. This game won't be close unless they decide to put on the brakes. The "truth" is LA Tech ran for 239 yards on Miss St. That 87 yards loss is what makes what they did on the ground look modest. I don't think this game will be close.

Funny how it has become common practice to blame players lately.

That will be just as true then as it is right now.

The idea of Moo State being a measuring stick is absurd...other than being a pooper scooper if they win.

This ain't Dak Prescott!
This ain't 2014!!

Beacause auburn has played clemson, florida has played michigan, bama played fla st, and uga has played notre dame. Theyve all played a game that could be used as a measuring stick to see where they are at this season

We have not
That's the point I think. Of the teams that might challenge in Atlanta we're the only one who hasn't played a ranked team.

So legitimately, at this point, it's still a wait and see approach to us.

UF failed their test, AU was identified as having more work to do than originally thought, UGA got it done with a freshman QB and what appears to be a top notch D, Bama beat #3 and O looks sorta shakey, but good enough if improve through year.

If BYU had curb stomped Utah, it might be a little different perspective by ESPN. But they didn't. That's why the games are played- prove it.

He was gone for Bama and UF last year.

Not really. We were still stuck with his antiquated offensive scheme and the roster that had dwindled significantly in talent since we used to be elite. The former is changing and has changed significantly already, while the latter has only slightly changed and will take a couple of years to really fix.

And if LSU beats Miss State 42-10 then they will say the same things before Florida, we beat the breaks off of Florida it will be Auburn, we beat auburn, it will be Bama is the only measuring stick for LSU.

It's absurd, we played a decent BYU team and shut them out, without using much of our offense, or defense. I would say that LSU is pretty damn good at this point. But I am looking forward to State. I'm just not as hopeful that we will get any respect from that game after its all over.

How can you not state that about every team in the SEC not named Bama?

Truth be known, LSU has let college football down a hell a lot less than 99.5 % of the other teams.

As normal with ESPN there days, they don't know shite.

Wait, what happened with difference like night and day, offensive records set, and LSU recruits itself?

ESPN definitely building hype for this game.

Miss St not on anyone's list of possible losses for LSU. What? 23 out of last 25, w only recent loss being when they had an NFL starting QB and a team ranked #1 halfway through the season.

Games do tend to be somewhat closer than expected, but Miss St doesn't have that kind of team this year. Not one that's going to rival the last one to beat us. And LSU is on par with most of the team's that were on the winning side in the past.

I will say this. Should LSU lay an egg in this game, O will have lost all of the goodwill he has gained and will be back to square one with ten times the negativity he has thus far seen.

And for that reason alone, I know this team will be prepared tmrw night. Would not be surprised to see a big win.

No shite!

For years its, LSU recruits for it self or LSU has top recruiting classes after top classes or all we need is a top OC or we have more talent than anyone not named Alabama or change the offense and we will roll or if we fire Les and Cam nothing will stop us from the playoffs.

Now, the talent has dwindled even with top 10 recruiting classes for years.

This shite is funny to watch.

And after they beat Moo State tomorrow, ESPN will proclaim next week.....we still don't know who LSU is.
