Are they going to re-play LSU/Bama games the entire 23 hours or just talk about the BCSNCG?

They're usually pretty good games if not frustrating at times. I wouldn't mind this.

As ESPN’s 24-hour college sports network, ESPNU is all BCS all the time leading into the Allstate BCS National Championship on Thursday, Jan. 9. ESPNU will cover the No.1 and No.2 rematch from every angle with 23 consecutive hours of BCS themed programming beginning Sunday, Jan. 8 at 8 p.m. ET and concluding with the immediate re-air of the championship matchup at the conclusion of the game.

January 8 ESPNU programming highlights:

¦Palmer & Pollack: Allstate BCS National Championship Edition (Champions Square, New Orleans) - In its second road show of the debut season, the hosts, both former BCS bowl winning players, will air their final show of the season live from Champions Square just outside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome

¦BCS Countdown: BCS National Championship Pregame (Champions Square, New Orleans) - Dari Nowkhah hosts a 2-hour special live from Champions Square providing the ultimate access and analysis to the BCS National Championship. He will be joined by Mike Bellotti, Rod Gilmore, Jesse Palmer and David Pollack. Tom Rinaldi, Wendi Nix and Erin Andrews will provide team reports

¦Road to the Allstate BCS National Championship: Alabama Football and Road to the Allstate BCS National Championship: LSU Football - Dari Nowkhah is joined by Matt Stinchcomb, with special breakdown from former Auburn offensive coordinator and new Arkansas State head coach Gus Malzahn as ESPNU relives the best Alabama and LSU moments, plays, and features of the season

¦Film Room: Allstate BCS National Championship Edition - Former coaches Mike Bellotti, Dan Hawkins and Randy Shannon talk Xs & Os with ESPNU’s Tom Luginbill, breaking down the game plan for each team in the BCS National Championship

¦SportsNation: ESPNU Allstate BCS National Championship Edition - Continuing with their weekly Saturday ESPNU franchise, SportsNation covers the BCS in their own unique way with Charissa Thompson, Jon Ritchie and Christian Fauria and – most importantly - the voice of the fan

Yeah they could mix in previous good LSU-Alabama games. 23 hours seems like a lot of time to fill with coverage.

Well, if you really look at it, you have 6 hrs of re-aired games, 3hrs of replayed live programing, 3hrs of the Herd and 1hr of replayed programming from earlier in the year. They are really only producing about 11hrs of original "coverage".
