Remember last year around this time ESPN said all the off field controversy and suspensions would be too much of a distraction for LSU to overcome and we would struggle to win 10 games?

The problem that the media has is that if it's not USC, then who else could beat LSU or Bama. The media is so tired of the SEC that they will suck off anyone. It's just that this year USC is their only chance. I still think Oregon will beat USC but i think Oregon will lose to another team along the way.

They cant suck off off the Okie's cause they choke, they cant suck off Clemson or Fla St. cause they are in the ACC, so USC is their only hope. I wouldnt be surprised if Stanford beat USC.

You almost feel for fig clowns like that. I will say though that i think the USCe game may be one of LSU's tougher games. It's sandwiched btw two tough road games.

Will they win the sec. If so, the streak will be 1

They will be the 1st elite defense that LSU will play. Good thing is, it's game 7.

Got real bored with repetitive politics over and over, so I've been watching all the sports channels lately. LSU has been getting GOOD press from all shows except ESPN, that's O.K.. ESPN has drooled over So.Cal. until it's sickening. CSS and all of the other cable channels and shows have picked LSU to win it all. They have praised our 2 DE's and defense in general. O line and Mett have been praised . All 4 CSS guys picked LSU as well as those odd shows in the mornings and afternoons that working people don't see,but I have. It's good folks, can't wait.

I have been quite interested in the suggestion that Alabama is going to win the SEC West, the SEC, and the National Championship. For this to happen, one pretty much needs to assume that Alabama beats LSU in Baton Rouge. Frankly, I don't see how Alabama can realistically be favored for that game, at least at the present time. I am not saying that Alabama can't beat LSU in Baton Rouge, but rather I do not see how one can think that LSU won't be favored in Baton Rouge.

Things could change--LSU could fall apart, there can be major injuries, etc.--but from from where we sit right now LSU has to be favored to win the Alabama game at home. If LSU does beat Alabama, it makes it difficult to think that Alabama will win the SEC West, SEC, and National Championship.
