ESPN's front page showing an insider rumor that says Saban to "air it out" against LSU. Any insiders on the board who can elaborate? Thanks.

Taken from this: Saban wants to air it out.

It's more or less the same thing.

If McElroy airs it out, the LSU secondary will have some picks.

Not an insider, but I think the "air it out" means they want to throw the ball deep down the field. That's my analysis.

Interesting, I really hope they try to attack LSU's secondary.

That's what I expect. He was prone to interceptions against South Carolina. We've intercepted at least once in every game this year. I think we'll make at least one in this game to run back for a touchdown.

Julio is obviously a bad arse that can make any qb look good but that I remember that mays kid making some really nice plays and thinking his speed is a great compliment to Jones size.

Would not be surprised at all if bama throws more and more successfully than they have in the past couple of games. This game is as personal as it get i think for both Saban and Miles.

Can't wait to see what happens

I hope they "air it out" the whole game and don't just smash us with Ingram.

If Coach Saban publically states he wants to air it out, expect Bama to throw the ball 2-3 times the entire game. If they throw the ball more than they run the ball, it will be perhaps the first time he has ever kept his word.

probably just a ploy to open up the run game for Ingram since we'll likely stack the box and dare him to "air it out" against this secondary

He definatly had a bad game against South Carolina, but those interceptions were on short timing patterns where he was hella off, I dont remember if hes been intercepted on anything deep this year, he doesnt throw many interceptions generally.

Im sure LSU's secondary will cover pretty well, but its hard for me to say its easypeasy on what he admits is his favorite pass.

Now the problem is Saban making sure he throws it.
