I just emailed the program the story about Schimpf and Dean hitting back-to-back homers twice in the same inning.

Hopefully they'll take up the story and get our baseball team some national recognition.

I wouldn't expect them to run the story today on such short notice, but I don't see how you could not report a story like that. Maybe tomorrow..

Even if they have a segment on it, Skip Bayless will say that, "College baseball is horrible and this is just an example of how aluminum bats aren't real baseball. Who want's to hear the ping of the bat anyway?"

I totally disagree, but it's always brought up during CWS time.

I'm going to take the odds on this one.

Odds are that they won't mention it.

ESPN doesn't consider college baseball a sport. Spelling Bees, Lumber Jacks, Carrying boulders and pulling 18 wheelers with your biceps, etc. = a sport. College Baseball = not a sport.

I doubt they mention it. ESPN just doesn't give a shite about college baseball anymore.
