If you have an incredible running game and a shitty qb, everyone focuses on the shitty qb and talks about how much your offense sucks.

This was on full display on ESPN's halftime show of the UCLA/Stanford game. They're picking the games of the weekend and they get to LSU/UF. Danny Kanell picks Florida and goes on to mention how UF's offense will be just fine because Treon Harris can run the offense just like Grier (based on no evidence whatsoever). Even talked about what he could do with his legs running the ball. Then goes on to say he hasn't seen enough of Harris to make him think LSU can do anything but run the ball in a pressure situation. So, you pick a team with a QB that hasn't taken one meaningful snap under the new coach over a team that has the best running back in the country and a QB that doesn't turn the ball over. Brilliant.

Danny Kanell and Jason Sehorn are the culprits, but the narrative will change after the win to how bama is the best defense we'll face all season.
Then Ole Miss defense
Then a&m offense

I was listening to Mike and Mike this morning and they named their top 4 teams to make the playoffs at present. Both of them named Florida first and said they were their most solid choice. What?! A team that has lost their QB and is anywhere from 7-9 points underdog to an undefeated LSU team is their number one pick?! I don't get this.

This is absofrickinlutely where Les wants his team to be. My guess is he'll have his guys playing dominant football against a very good team on Saturday night. The Gators have not played anyone nearly as physical as LSU and it will show come Saturday night, especially in the second half. Mills returning on defense is also huge.

Well no one else in the country has a trick that is a effective as Fournette, so... I'll take it?

I don't give a damn what ESPN says. If we run the ball every play and win every game by 1 pt, I will take it. As long as we win, ugly, pretty, who cares?

I think this game is gonna get really ugly. Fournette doesn't come out until the 4th and we just completely blow out UF. Plus Harris with a touchdown or two.

LF is a pony not a trick.

Get it right.

I don't see that happening. I hope you're right but I think this one is coming down to the wire.

I hope we never have to pass against Florida, Bama whoever. Just keep running!

Most of these analyst do not actually watch the games. They just pick up on the major narrative for each team, watch some highlights and vomit back their "insight."

We pass for more yards against conference opponents than Florida rushes for against conference opponents.
Soooo.. I assume they're a one trick pony too?

I like our trick better.

If we play someone that stops our running game (Big if at this point), then we will lose. In that sense, we are a one trick pony. Harris is not at a point in which he can carry the team. That is simply reality.

The only way we could ever know this if he's forced to do so.

We have a 3 headed monster at running back and a qb that also contributes to the run game. This team might be undefeated without Fournette because the 2 behind him are that good.
