I don't think it's saying that at all. I think it's just pointing out that most of the loudest criticism is coming from some faux-arse internet tough guys, which does say something for itself.

This may be the stupidest post I've ever seen on this website, and THAT is saying something. The guy is not saying that at all, simply stating he's never had an instance of being criticized in person.

How ignorant are you dude? He didn't just say this out of the blue, I garuntee the interviewer asked him "All the criticism you got last season from the fans did you ever have an instance of someone coming up to you in person?"
