It is not as far fetched as one would think. Mainly depends on QB play obviously. I do think Harris will step up and play well, but he will have at least a couple of down games which will pu us in the 9 to 10 wins category.

head caching is questionable

That questionable head coaching has led LSU to the most wins in football since 2005 other than for Oregon, retard.

At no time in LSU head coaching history have we been ranked that high in wins.

It has nothing to do with being a homer, D-bag. It's about taking your head out of your arse so you can see that Les is the most productive head coach in LSU history.

Yes LSU could be a national contender, but the Tigers barely beat Wisky, UF, and the rebel bears with bad Bo. Auburn crushed LSU and State did as well, although their HC helped make it close at the end. ND was an embarrassment which I blame on Chavis. LSU choked against Bama, and no offense showed up against Pigs Tigers didn't exactly kill TAM.

Having said this, if LSU gets decent to good QB play, the Tigers can be contenders. Other problems will no doubt emerge as well. Last year the OL looked good in preseason but it took awhile with the new scheme. The WRs came in with 8 career catches and showed it. The DTs figured it
out eventually. The QBs never really did.

Staying fairly healthy is huge as well.

The truth you dumbass. Bama, a playoff team, struggled like hell and only son because of LSU mistakes. ND, a team that was falling off won because uncharacteristic play by a defense that had completely flipped the script the second half of the season.

Maybe you need to see reality. Even with all our inexperience we still finished two late game drives from being 10-3. We don't have those problems this year. Things will be a whole lot different.

Facts.... Still excuses..LSU lost three of its last 4 and got beat by a barely decent Arkie team.

Again. More excuses about a TON of talent [I guess} that FAILED....

They may be. But............I doubt it...... YOU are setting yourself up for a bigtime letdown... I will be here to tell you that too. But alas it will just open the door for more EXCUSES instead of looking at reality.......

I swear to god! Les could squat and shite at midfield during halftime at the McNeese game and you guys would spin it so that he comes off as conquering Everest or something. Give it a rest.

If the decision to withhold him from meaningful play during the remainder of the season was based on injury

I base that on what Harris said. I don't have his quote in front of me at this time, but it was something to the fact he had a high ankle injury late in the 1st haft and that bothered him for the remainder of the season. Some didn't believe that, but I cant think of a good reason for the kid to lie bout an injury. It seems to me that if he was lying, his teammates would known.

Tiger fans get hysterical really easy ,it was jennings short passes that he was bad on, those are also the easiest to fix !
