Last years uncertainty of a Spurrier return is a perfect study.
As a baseline, he always had a Top 20 recruiting class. Rumors surfaced late last year that he may retire. He eventually announced he was returning.
Too little too late. It helped sway one of his top targets and then a SoCar lean, Arden Key, to us.
Early this year, he had a putrid 40th ranked recruiting class committed. He retires after being Fournette'd, and SoCar's class has currently dropped 50th in the nation.
Total Nightmare.

Miles's record: Again, people are too willing to look too far back and cluster it all into one accolade. They seem completely unable to process trends. A losing record over a 3 year in the SEC West seems beyond their ability to comprehend. They seem completely unable to see the distinction between "losing 3 games in a row" and "looking like shite for 3 games in a row". Screw stupid people and homers.
