Interesting comment from Steve Ensminger re: letting Joe Burrow audible at the LOS: "He’s done a good job with that, but can the whole offense handle it? He can. Some of the other positions couldn’t, so we wouldn’t always do it every game."

Somehow I think he’s talking about the WRs

This is from James Moran btw

They couldn't handle being told to run another play?

Do we just have the dumbest players in the sec or can ensminger not coach worth a shite?

My guess is that's why Dillon saw the field so much over guys like Chase and Marshall. Not to mention the constant revolving door at OL. Things should get much better as Burrow will have all spring to work with this unit. We return a ton on offense next year. Specifically OL.

The WR substitution patterns certainly wouldn’t help, nor the injuries on the offensive line.

I have no reason to believe this based on past experiences.

At some point we had some serious issues just knowing the regular play on the OL.

Injuries definitely didn’t help, but if you’re whole offenses is that stunted by missing your LG you have bigger issues.

The only two OL to play in every game this year were Cushenberry and Lewis.

This.

New personnel at every position composed of first timers and old timers trying to build chemistry, injuries and off-the-field issues with key starters and learn an entire college football playbook in 2 months. Remember, LSU was preseason ranked based off of these facts, and still was able to pull off a 9-3 regular season record.

Coach O and staff need to keep orchestrating, but the players need to help out. It needs to be more important for them to be better.

How much do you blame that on the coaches though? I did poorly in calculus because my professor was a poor teacher.

Yeah and Charles played in 9 games
And Deculus started at RT in like 10.

From Ole Miss forward we started 4/5 of the same players every game.

So this is the new blame game.

It was the one armed wide receivers.

Got it.

Whoever will these coaches blame when they run out of positions.

Or you could've studied more and asked more questions until you understood it.
