Like it or not, he definately helped beat Bama on Nov. 5th. My point is simply that it serves no purpose in bashing him or any player on the team.

So I must have missed the part where he drove in for a TD after Mo Claiborne pretty much gave them a start in red zone after his INT? Silly me I remember them barely getting 2 yards and a FG on that drive.

Dont try and confuse the JJ fanbois with facts and logic that will never work!

You might want to explain this to JJ as well. He is the only player I have seen blaming his teamates and telling everyone how well he played!

I really enjoyed his quotes that:

Winning the game would have meant a lot to me
I did a good job and other than the flip pass INT I made good decisions with the ball

but

the team just did not get it done.

Not exact quotes of course, but close enough.

Anyone who bashes a college kid who gave 4 (or 5) years of their life to play for LSU is a poor excuse for a human being. He's STILL a Tiger. Yeah, all those other people you mentioned had bad play at times but had good plays too.

F all of you bashers. You couldn't tell the difference between constructive criticism and bashing if it bit you in the balls.

Agree, to put the entire blame on JJ is not fair. Our entire O-line dropped the ball and they and the OC must accept this fact. No one person can lose a game by themselves, and yes whether you want to hear it or not, he is just a kid. He did a lot of good things in games he played in this year, and I also acknowledge JL's contribution as well.

This is over folks, let's please move on. You are either an LSU fan or not. Win or lose, we have to stick by our guys, and 13-1 is a heck of a season. How many college football teams can boast that record this year? Not many!!!

I agree- there is no sport in Jefferson bashing. Unfortunately, he made it too easy. But I do wish him well in the future.

JJ may go pro as a linebacker after that tackle he made.

Lots of people here are finally getting their moment to say "I told you so"! Many were critical of the decision to give JJ the starting position completely and warned of a return to shitty 2010 form. These people were called ignorant and racist and had stupid statistics thrown in their faces. But in the end, JJ shite the bed and made the same mistakes he made 4 years ago. He is not a good QB he is not a good running threat and he is not a good passer. The day he returned from suspension is the day most envisioned the shite we witnessed on the offensive side of the ball Monday night.

It is a gray line and you are just the person to determine what is criticism and what is bashing....

You don't know me. All of y'all who are attacking JJ and calling him names are as bad as the people who were tweeting racial slurs and threats.

MUCH of what he has said in interviews has been MISINTERPRETED, particularly the part about carrying the team on his back. Go watch the interview again and figure out what he was trying to get across.

Oh so you are saying his quote about making good decisions with the ball but the offense not executing is a misquote or is he really complementing the offense?

Was he also misinterpreted when he got in Ware's face after throwing the ball at his back?

Get off JJ's jock!

As a final thought was he misinterpreted when he said after amassing 4 total yards versus McNeese St that he thought his play was fine????

I'm sure you meant to say taken of context. If that's what you meant, when you are given direct quotes it is pretty hard to say you are taken out of context (most of the time).

I knew he played poorly against McNeese but I do not remember it being that bad?? I thought he had at least 40 yards passing.

Yeah. Dat's it. Taken out of context.

I'm just tired of the bashing. He played for LSU and will always be a Tiger. MOST of the people are adults bashing a 21 year old and I find it pathetic.

Most of our eloquence/PC in speaking comes from age and life's experiences, not being a 21 year old kid with a microphone shoved in your face. (Perfect example was when he was attacked for his George Jefferson - president comment or whatever name he said).
