Contrary to what I said, the game needs to be moved. Still too much uncertainty about the track and timing

I'd expect to hear a final decision today, since the new site would need time to prepare for the game. The USCe move last year was announced on Wednesday.

I think Bonnette even alluded to this yesterday.

Someone posted in another thread that they were told that UF is adamant about the game not being moved to BR. They understand that it may need to be moved but they don't want it in Tiger Stadium.

I wouldn't want it moved to BR either.

I think today at noon has to be the cutoff. I'd imagine just to get their equipment truck loaded would take a day and then another day for it to get to baton rouge.

Does Florida have any options? The SEC should decide about the game. Florida is evacuating people out of the state.

Is moving it to another stadium 3 days before game day a viable option? I mean could a random stadium, say the Superdome (Saints have a bye week anyway), get everything ready in time?

totally understand them not wanting to play at tiger stadium...but this game shouldn't be played in gainesville. human lives are more important than homefield advantage. i'm sure mobile, birmingham, or shreveport could host.

SEC will decide

Both teams traveling is more money. SEC doesn't think about fairness, unless AL is involved.

Its not that easy. None of those places have people on staff they can just call on a whim and have show up.
