Check out this video of ER3 highlights from HS. Elbert Robinson III, the next Shaq?.

Will he emerge as a force for the Tigers in 2015/16?

He looks pretty damn good to me!

if we can have him just protect the rim and get rebounds we could be scary good with sampson simmons and blakeney coming in and providing so much scoring

I agree, just use that size to get position for rebounds and layups. If he can do that and can protect the rim on D our team looks a lot better next year. Man he was heavy in that video, the lack of explosion and lift jumped out to me on a few plays. It looked like a young Glen Davis athletically. I didn't realize he lost as much weight as he did.

Looks he was barely dunking those balls as a 7 footer, until he proves otherwise he is still project city, but we no doubt need him to develop, Darcy ain't got it

We don't need him to elevate over the rim to be productive. Like the other guy said, he has the size to get positioning on rebounds. He just needs to have quick feet.

He doesn't look terrible but he does look slow and lacking in energy.

Of course, we are only seeing the highlights, but it does look like he can shoot, defend and pass. Hopefully his speed, agility, and elevation will improve with his weight loss.

I would think that 98% of college basketball players were good high school basketball players. I think that's how they were given the opportunity to play at the next level.

He's dropped around 50 lbs since then. Problem is, he also fell off in the strength department which is what the coaches are focusing on with him in the offseason.
