Everyone else is fired. What do you want?

What exactly do you want to happen while we have no coach?

So, considering Alleva said this will be "handled like our football search," aka, "there will be no search because I suck balls," Nunez is the new Head Coach for LSU basketball!

His resume as a tunnel entrance coordinator and injured or ejected lockerroom escort is pretty impressive.

Collis Temple could keep things organized for a week or 2.

Nuñez served as men's basketball administrative assistant coach at Marquette University for one year and two years as men's basketball graduate assistant for coach Billy Donovan at the University of Florida.

He's pretty qualified since all he'll be doing is administrative.

Exactly. Not much to do in the offseason besides workouts, recruit, sign a few checks, and scheduling.

Worst case scenario he'll be on the job for about a month.

Little known fact, Eddie helped to recruit D Wade to Marquette and they still communicate.

Considering he's only going to be running the administrative part of the program for hopefully the next 30 days or so, I'm sure we'll be fine.

Alleva presser in mid April

"Ok guys, so I'm exited to be here today. After an extensive search, that I conducted, I realised we had our man all along. Well, what I meant to say is men. We had our men all along. See LSU will have 2 head basketball coaches now. The first one will be me. The second will be Eddie Nunez. I used to work at the same school as Coach K so I'm good to go as the next head coach. Eddie worked at the same school as Billy Donovan so he's good to go as well."
