A few guys on the RB said he would be on LSU Staff this season. Tigerbru, redfield and Mr Eko all had insider info.

Wonder what happened?

inside info

its comical how little "inside info " is revealed on that board ...

I think he's still pissed USC didnt even really give him a chance at the HC gig there.

No shite Sherlock! Outstanding contribution of Captain Obvious.

I can't imagine why he would be put off by on of the top programs on the nation ignoring him after a string of wins as soon as that loser Kiffen was GONE! NO way he's upset about being denied millions per year.

The man wanted the USC gig and loves the west coast. Can't blame him but now that he got burned I wouldn't be surprised to see him at LSU

I can already see the recruiting violation headlines.

I can't stand the f*cker.

However, he definitely falls into the category of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer. He would be good for recruiting, if nothing else.

Honestly, if we get him a "Director of player personnel and recruiting" title, i'd love to have him as a recruiter because the dude can recruit, and recruit WELL.

You all want the 2016 to be the best, we need to hire the best.

Cam is step 1.
Grimes is step 2.
Sean is step 3.

Maybe Coach O is step 4

He's solid at what he does, but I don't really think we have a spot for him. Wilson and Haley are doing fantastic work with recruiting and coaching the D-line respectively. Unless Haley moves on there's just no fit right now.

No knock on him. We just have a fantastic staff right now

In that capacity he wouldn't really be able to recruit anyway.

I'll take Frank Wilson over Bebe Orgeron any day.

Orgeron wants to be a head coach...I cannot see him HC at LSU...if he takes staff position, he will bolt at first chance to be HC somewhere. I could see him at ULL or Tulane, So Miss but not at SEC school....too awful at Ole Miss.

Coach O can recruit so well because he cheats his arse off. He's always left a program one step ahead of the posse. Had he stayed at O. Miss he would have buried the program. And he was USC's main recruiter, along with Kiffin, when all the Reggie Bush shite went down. Bush's story was just the tip of the iceberg but just the only part that came out. If you're looking for a profile of his character, he & Bobby Herbert are best friends & share a lot in common in a lot of areas.

Find a place for him on staff. Hand select the 25 every year. Pretty cool interview

If you hired Orgeron, everyone he recruits for you at LSU would better help his relationship for whatever school he leaves LSU for the next year for a head coaching gig.

He wants to be a head coach again, and he will be...likely next year.

Its a shame, but his ability to recruit is his greatest attribute and greatest handicap right now.

Why do you think he would coach the O-Line?

He is a D-line coach.
