Coach O is ready to become the Defensive coordinator for the Lsu Tigers! It should be a no brainer, the man deserves the job. He is a great coach, motivator and recruiter. Tiger fans we need to get behind coach O and make this happen!!

You're going to be calling for his head when the season starts and he shows you why he's never been a DC.

As hard as he works, I believe he would do a great job.

So tell me why he doesn't deserve a chance? USC had a damn good defense after coach O took over that team and defense.

I am genuinely asking, they didn't have a DC when he took over as HC?

Please explain how he is qualified to be a DC.

From an earlier thread that I never got a response from anyone.

LINK

Just a quick look at the defensive stats from the three years at Ole Miss the defenses declined every year. In almost every category the rankings were in the lower half in his last two seasons. His first season was his best statistically which was still only slightly better than average.

He is good at his job now and a great recruiter but that does not equate to being a DC.

he has a lot of Les Miles quality. He's a charming speaker but i dont want him gameplanning against SEC offenses.

Coach O will not be the DC. He has never done it and has no interest in it. He is a player motivator and a technique guy, not X's and O's guy. There are just certain coaches who are great coaches but aren't scheme guys and there's nothing wrong with that. Coach O will either take a head coaching gig or remain a d-line coach.

I have a bunch of hard workers and each of them would be absolutely terrible as a Defensive Coordinator.

The fact people think he should be DC and that opinion is popular on here is fricking terrifying.

I vote Coach O if he wants it. He's ready IMO. I thinks he is an excellent addition to LSU and deserves this opportunity.

FOREVER LSU

All that is fine and good, if he wants the job.
