alumni95, I'm not the pumper here. Overall, AL has won the NC three out of the last four years, the record against LSU is 4-3, they have won the last two and the odds makers have us a a double digit underdog for Saturday. I am not sure what you would consider as dominant, but, if you believe that LSU and AL are on the same level, I fear that you are living in the past. Join me in praying that Texas out bids AL for Saban's services after this year. If not, we're in for a long ride of being somewhere in the middle of the pack as I believe that Saban hurts our program almost as much as he helps AL. Don't get me wrong. I would love for LSU to pull an upset this week end, but that very word "upset" evidences the change of landscape for our series. Friendly advice, don't bet on the Tigers without the points.

Ok I'll bite. So many of you are claiming that Fournette isn't on the fence. Then which way is he going? I'm hearing different things from different people "in the know".

HollierThanThou, "I don't wish death on no one".

That's a double negative, so are you saying you do wish death on the good people who have nothing better to do in their lives than post here?

He came to his former high school and told us why the Seahawks would beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl. I told him he was wrong and argued. Promised us a pizza party if I was right. Never fulfilled his promise. Tpos

Then there is another popular opinion that recruits don't pick schools based on the results of one game.

LSU can lose this game, still win 10 regular season games (which would be above the vegas total) and be just fine.

How?

Have you discovered some new math that the rest of us don't know about?

Near as I can tell if LSU loses to Bama the best they can do is 9-3 in the regular season.

FWIW Ed Daniels is a fricking idiot.

3 out of 4 National Titles is pretty damn close to being a dominant program. That is coming out of the best conference in the country. Last I checked not many coaches in the history of college football have won 3 out of 4 titles. Throw in that Saban has won titles with 2 different programs. Bama is dominant because of Saban. You play to win championships. It's not about a 1 game season vs LSU.

There it is folks. The classic "We'll be Fine" mediocrity acceptng loser mentality.

BTW, how do we win 10 regular season games if we lose to Bama? That would already be 3 defeats with A+M and Arkansas to go. 9-3 at best. (The Bowl game isn't regular season)

Yes, a 9-3 regular season with a loss to the Black Bears and the Red Devils IS mediocre at this point in the history of LSU football.

11-2 with a win over Bama and New Years Day Bowl win would be acceptable.

Raise your standards losers!

And I'll say you're wrong. If we lose this game, it's impossible to win 10 regular season games. Do you know how many regular season games we play every year?

That's not what 18 year old guys see. They want to win and want to be paid. Alabama is best at both right now.
