Take 10 to 65 to 85. If you can wait, stop in Auburn for food.

We stop at one of two places, Amsterdam Cafe or The Hound.

Both are very similar with good cocktail menus, decent craft beer selections, & approachable food menus.

Amsterdam Cafe: crab cakes, shrimp & grits or scallops are my wife's favorites. I usually just get a burger or a steak.

The Hound: good apps, burgers & steaks. Only ate here two times but good on both accounts.

Unique local restaurants that will appreciate your business.

Good luck & safe travels!

Route - 10 - 65 - 85.
Food - nothing to get excited about. There is a Walk-ons just off 85 east of Montgomery.

I stopped at Foosackley’s in Mobile on Dauphin Street off I-65 for lunch today. It was quick and the tenders were very good...much better than Canes.

Can confirm they still have a Dreamland BBQ in Mobile and it’s still delicious. I may stop there tomorrow or else somewhere in Montgomery depending on how good of time I’m making

The gf and I always stop at Meat Boss BBQ in Mobile when we're traveling around the area. They have a white barbecue sauce that's amazing and their whole menu is great. Most of the workers there are Auburn supporters and they'll let you know it if you're wearing LSU gear haha
