They will cover. I wish it wasn’t the case but the talent disparity & depth is indisputable. And it’s in Tuscaloosa.

Bama aren’t as big of chokers as Auburn. That game actually probably will be ugly in Tusca. Thinking 41-14 type of affair. Bama is on another level than everyone else. Hopefully the young team doesn’t let this get them down. Even with a Bama loss, there’s a lot to play for.

I've seen much bigger upsets. It's time.

This is entirely too high. I think it will end up around 2 scores.

Yes- Alabama is good
Yes- We are playing there

Bama seems to have a sleepwalking game once a year and they havent had it yet. Hopefully they are saving that for us

What was the spread against A&M?

I think LSU will cover 24 with no problem. I would guess it'll close around 10 or 14 if we beat Ole Miss.

Wow, that's absurd. If I were a betting man I would jump on LSU and the points.

Look, I realistically don't expect us to win, but it'll be within 2 TDs

Wow LSU will be EASY cash. LSU plays up/down to its competition and if history is right this series has always been decided by 1 or 2 plays.

We will not lose to BAMA + 24. May not win, but I believe we will keep it close.

Yes the history of this rivalry in the last decade has led the game to be extremely close and usually be decided by a touchdown or less. But this LSU team is not the same as it has been in previous years. As previous posted, LSU usually does get up for big games regardless of who is coaching them so don't be shocked if it comes down to a last possession again. The much more likely is Bama gets up big early and never lets their foot off the gas and LSU won't be able to make up the deficit; Bama cruises. With that said, I'll take the +24 today. It will end up being somewhere around -17 Bama.

And it’s in Tuscaloosa.

LSU is 12-6 @Bama since 1982(the first 3 in that run were 3 consecutive wins @Birmingham #LegionFieldIsADump), but even limiting to Tuscaloosa, we're 9-6 since 1998.

The visiting team has the homefield advantage, generally in the series and especially post-Bryant.

(For that matter, even extending to the Bryant era, Bama won every game in Baton Rouge from 1971 through 1998.)
