Which at bat or moment will be the most memorable for you? He was so consistently great but it’s hard to circle one moment that really stands out like other Tiger greats.

The HR to get us started against Oregon St in the regional sticks out to me. We were down 3-0 and looking kind of stagnant and then he hit a 2 run bomb (and showed a bunch of emotion) that got us going and we never looked back.

This. Sealed the victory to get to Omaha.

Good pick there. He had a lot of “spark” at bats if that makes sense but none of the memorable walk offs or huge hits late in the games like Walker, Lemahieu, Cresse, Tanks, and Morris.

I know in the grand scheme of things it didn’t mean anything but the triple in the last game was quintessential Dylan Crews.

Meaningless moment on the way to being crowned national champion and he is hustling out of the box thinking triple from the start. How many guys in his situation are just jogging into second? I’m not even saying he would have been wrong to do so but the fact he didn’t is why he is the best player to ever put on a jersey for LSU.

How about every game this season because he got on base in every single game which is absolutely insane statistic

Love the way he was busting arse to score from first in the 9th vs Florida.

You think he knew he was sitting on 99 runs?

How ab 1 error in 2 years (346 chances)? 3 errors in 3Y (470 chances).

Is that good?

I could be wrong here, it wasn’t his last AB a triple? If that’s the case, I’d say that. He’s got to be one of the only players to hit a triple on his last at bat.

He ended up coming back to the plate in the 9th and hit a single to center field in his last AB

He got another at bat in the 9th and promptly hit a missile to CF for a single. He was 4-6

He is the GOAT

Or his HR against Oregon State to start the comeback after the rain delay. Those are the two biggest that stick out to me.

A lot of other good answers in this thread, but this one is mine.

For me its the absolute piss missle he hit against Southern Miss last year in the regional. Down 4 in the 9th he absolutely crushed that ball to start the really. I remember thinking what a waste of an absolute bomb and then they came back.

Nice double against Tulane in our regional opener as well. If memory serves he was responsible for all of our first three runs. Scored after his single in the first and doubled in two in his next AB.

ETA: Just looked, his double drove in only one. Pearson drove in the second of our runs.

Mid season game to end his hitting streak. 3-0 count and ball 4 was close but he didn’t swing. Took his walk instead of chasing a stat. True team player.
