Dural showed zero focus last night and is just plain lazy in the effort that he puts forth. He makes zero effort to catch the ball if it's off target. He should be a leader on this team.

I agree. I want to see how the other guys do.

It's crazy because Dural was so sick on that play that got called back against Mississippi State.

Agree. It doesn't matter how explosive dural can be if he can't catch the damn ball.

Something needs to change. A little shake up might do some good for all?

I think we're going to see a much different team against usc. I have a feeling this weeks practice is going to have a different feel to it. Some "leaders" will be showing a little more intensity. I don't think players like Dural are just going to pout like little girls all week and not step the hell up. I mean this schedule is about to get intense and we control our own destiny. No panic, just more intensity. Maybe a little too much has been getting to their heads.

I hate when he throws his fricking hands up after a play. Jog back and play ball.

It's hard to get into the head of a kid, but I've actually wondered if he is deflated that BH has other options. I hope that isn't the case, because it would be saying something terrible about his team mentality. But, if you look at last year with Jennings under center, Dural was by far his favorite target. Not necessarily the case with BH.

Is it possible that is rubbing Dural the wrong way?

Again, that is an incredible insult made purely on speculation. So, I hope it's not true.

I just hate how frustrated Dural is always acting. Even after he makes a catch, its like he shakes his head as if to say "finally." Maybe he is a little upset that hes not getting numbers like last year. Either way, he needs to lose that attitude asap.

Ball's MO is coaching with focus and intensity and stressing details. His players are playing with NONE of those things. Yet we know they are capable.

Coaching matters y'all.

I think Les is not comfortable throwing the rock he was with Mettenburger.

We only threw it on 3rd down with Mett anyway. Most of our early down passing were Mett checks. Not much has changed. Mett had the brain and the ability to get more attempts out of the game plan.

He looked pretty hungry for the end zone on the jet sweep play he ran.

It's easy to be mad at a kid when he's struggling.

But he's not alone. All of our WRs are head cases right now, and Noone really knows why but them. I can tell you what's a part of it, though: all the attn and criticism on the passing game.

If we were a balanced offense, each ball in the air wouldn't cause so much anxiety. The fewer the passes thrown, the more nerves come into play.

I can tell you this, Noone wants to succeed more than the struggling player.

Sorry, i don't have any answers, just my observarions.

He also had two starting WRs to throw to. Brandon has only Fournette to work with. Quinn, Chark, Ferguson, Dillon, etc need to all play ahead of Chi, Dural, Diarse, and Johnson until they learn.
