he wont fight for balls

even more annoying than a ball hitting him in the hands and dropping it. he gives no effort for 50/50 balls in the air.

I've never seen a team assign a receiver the job of outjumping a defender in close coverage on a consistent basis. That is a low percentage assignment but it is the one given to Malachi. Its stupid football, but its how we use Dupre's athleticism.
Nevertheless much of the criticism is very well founded in that Dupre never seems to get much separation, because he doesn't run good routes and he plays with no heart. If you are going to win jump balls and can't shake a defender in coverage, the only way you succeed is to want the ball a lot more than the other guy. Malachi doesn't.

What do you expect when you only throw 10-15 times a game? WRs need to get their confidence going too you know.

yea, and I appears that Dupre is getting too many of those calls. his drops substantially changed the beginning of the Wisconsin game and he flat out got outbattled and lost a TD last night.

I hope he's not like you and blames others for their issues. if he is he will be surpassed by someone else. excuses are for losers.

Why would the rant be interested in the truth?

Then add on the 2 in the second half that is 10-14 for 200+. That is the reality of what anything decent from receivers.

That would be brilliant contributions from the receivers. I don't recall any clear drops in the second half. I remember a deep ball that I'd like Zmalachi to come up with. Then the interception which should probably have been an incompletion. Other than those where were the drops?

Care to guess how many times since 2011 we've thrown 15 or fewer passes in a game?

His face mask had more of a chance to catch a ball than did his hands. Pine time.

Go rewatch. I was referring to Guice rapping himself after the ball hits his hand. Dupre had one hit both hands at about the 20. Then there was call back due to a hold.

Do you expect Miles to call for passes when Dupre won't catch it?

My HS offense threw 5-10 a game and as a WR I had better not use that as a excuse if I dropped the pass.

In fairness to Dupre last year was a record for drops for the WR unit overall

When you have a 6'5" receiver and under 6' DB's, and he's in single coverage down the field, it's kind of stupid not to throw it to him.

It's only stupid b/c he isn't good at it, despite the supreme advantage of his natural abilities that should help him succeed at this.

It mentioned that Malachi Dupre dropped balls in 5 straight games in 2015

The article, in fact, does not mention this...
