See how easy life can be when you don't challenge what someone wants to do after graduation?

If only we could have gotten the players that played to do that.

He sure in the hell did do that! The ball would go up and he would find someone to put a body on. The problem is that the ball would come off the rim and rather than grabbing it, he would continue to block out.

Say what you want about him, if nothing else he seemed to be a great teammate. There were plenty occasions where he was the only one on the bench standing up and trying to encourage the guys on the floor.

That team was the most dysfunctional I've ever seen. Randy Livingston was on Cullotta and the Prince the other day and he said he had seen the team in Australia last year and if you'd have told him then that team would not make the tournament he'd have called you crazy.

He said he spoke to the team before one of the games there and said the only thing that could stop them is division from within.

I couldn't believe he was saying that on the radio given he's just taken the assistants job, but it's not like it was a secret. Anyone with eyes could see.

So, you're saying he's going to continue to work on his low post game?

Might want to add Fullerton to the title. While it's probably the best known 'Cal State', there are 23 of them.

Please enjoy the unbridled enthusiasm of the beginning of the Darcy Malone era with this TD Classic.

dude looks coordinated for a 7-footer and has good feet. you can do a lot with that foundation he definitely suffers from "long neck" though

Skill wise, it seems like he'll come in as a natural extension of what Del Piero is now. I think he's a little further along, but still has some work to do.
he has a jumper, which is already an improvement.

I was about to come to the rescue on all these coomments. haha.

I have kept up with Darcy very well over the past few months. He has played under all sorts of numbers, especially because Aussie basketball is different. He has played on numerous teams and such, even if under the same ACT name.

I am very excited about Darcy Malone and I feel like he will contribute early. At first we thought he could be a redshirt prospect, but I know Coach Jones has already made comment to the contrary. He is expected to play early and somewhat often. I wouldn't be surprised to see his numbers similar to ADP's in a similar role, but their game's are very different.

Darcy is quick and nimble for a 7'er. He will catch people off guard with his speed and athleticism. He may not have all the tools to be an immediate big impact type player, but once he fills out and continues to work on his post moves, he will be a force to be reckoned with.

I could easily see Malone playing in the NBA one day and I think he will have a very capable staff showing him how to get there. The more I see of his game film (I've watched 4 games of his) I come to know the biggest thing that will be needed for him to improve is a mentality change. He needs to work on becoming more active without the ball. He will learn a ton very quickly under Coach Jones and his future looks very bright.

He did make it to Baton Rouge about 10 days ago and he should already have started with some LSU organized practice. While I have not confirmed that, I know that NCAA rules allow coaches to work with freshman as soon as they start classes and I believe (NOW CONFIRMED) he has started attending classes as of Monday.
