I read today that Miles said Ducre to LB is a very real possibility... I love it, I thought Mouton was really good for a Fr and has great potential, Moore has 2? years left to play and JUST HOW MANY DAMN FB'S DO YA NEED!. Ducre is too good of an athlete to be on the sideline watching. DJ Williams started as a FB at Miami before moving to LBer to get on the field and it worked out great. This move may keep White from moving to LBer, I'd like to see both playing LB, what an injection of athleticism those two would add to the LBers

I'd actually like to see Ducre at rb and would prefer White at lb. It doesn't matter much, as long as we can find ways to get the best players on the field.

I'd like to see white and ducre out on the field at the same time at LB. Boy would there be some brutal hits with these two.

We need FBs especially in our offense. Moore went down and Mouton had to step in. There was a BIG dropoff in production. Mouton also got banged up and we ran plays without a fullback. I agree that it sucks to see Ducre/Williams sit on the sideline, but we HAVE to keep extras just in case

I agree. Ducre was also a track star in HS, so I'd like him to stay at FB. White's size makes him an imposing LB prospect.

What? I thought Mouton played really well when he was in

He whiffed on lots of blocks. He doesn't know all the assignments yet. However, when he was in the right place and right time, he generally delivered a good block. He'll get there. Just needs time.

Never thought about that move Untill yesterday on our local radio show, Mike Scarbourgh mentioned it. Makes sense, we always bitch about waisted talent! Put as many beasts on the field as possible!!

Wonder if this is Aranda's influence?

I think you weather the storm with the LB Corp. Aranda is as intelligent as it gets, he'll scheme around his talent. I just think that White could be the steal of the class. I think he could be a very special back and only 1 or 2 clicks talent wise below LF. I've heard Corey Thompson to LB and you know Arden Key will be upright some. I say keep white at tailback UNLESS someone gets nicked in practice or a game and you have to make a battlefield promotion.

Also Voorhies moved to linebacker before last fall. He never played significant snaps last season but had a year to groom and learn the position. We got numbers at LB and also with CT moving to LB. Its just a matter of experience

I think Voorhies has a chance to explode under Aranda.

That's my thing, use all of the talent on your team to make your team as good as possible. Especially if one position is abundant and another is lacking. Another thing is if Ducre was lookin good at FB why did Mouton play in front of him. Moore has 2 years left, Mouton has 3. Imagine the melt if we lost our shot at a title for lack of depth at LBer??

Corey Thompson could be a dark horse beast OLB.

He is a great athlete and very sure tackler. If he gains 20 lbs of muscle, he could really surprise folks.

Ducre is a rb in my opinion. He's Broussard 2.0.

I would really like to see Ducre get legit opportunity at running back (tailback).

Think he's a great prospect - don't where or how he fits thought!

He's wayyyyyyyy bigger than Broussard. He's Copeland's size when he was a senior.

And he's much, much faster.

I think White, in his film, looks much more like a natural LB than RB and Ducre seemed like a natural runner. I am fine with both being LB's though.

Playing FB is more about hitting your blocks and sealing, you don't have to be a freak athlete like Ducre and White to do that. When we want a FB to carry it, we put Williams back there.

Exactly how I see it. White at lb and Ducre at rb seems like a more natural fit for both.

If you couldn't see a big dropoff then I don't know what to tell you.

There is a pretty good shot that he never cracks the top 2 on the depth chart at RB. If he can play LB (starter material) he needs to make the move.
