Hanny didn't have the pipes to be "The voice of the tigers". He is a good co analyst/host but no major program in the country would have made him the lead guy.

Doug has been a good friend of mine for almost 13 years, although we haven't hung out in a while (2 kids each will do that). He'll do a hell of a job. Doug and jumbo are tight, maybe they'll bring him in when Blair is doing basketball

Also, Doug has been groomed for this a little. He did some games a few years back on jumbo sports (I think it was on JS)

This is really disappointing to me. Sure I'll get used to it after a while, but it won't feel like spring without Hanagriff in the booth.
