yes we are seriously comparing them. The use of hyperbole don't escape you does it.

You are either a stupid person, or you just don't understand baseball.

what the frick does congratulating the other team have to do with my understanding of the game of baseball? Look, if you guys want to slap hands with the other team, by all means, but it has nothing to do with one's understanding of the game of baseball. That's like saying if you don't like a team's uniforms then you don't understand the game of football. Or if you think someone has an ugly FT shot you don't understand basketball.

Everything really. Baseball is not wraslin' or NASCAR. You just don't get it. Maybe you didn't read the article. That's really the only hope for you.

You don't get baseball.

You should avoid analogies. They are not your thing.

Not slap hands? Seriously? Kids start doing this in wee ball

its a reference from the Water Boy. I was making fun of you. I get that baseball is the gentleman's game blah blah blah... I never criticized anyone for doing it. Just think its goofy and I wouldn't do it.

Wow.

Coming from a guy who compared losing a baseball game to walking in on somebody banging his wife. Utterly fricking amazing.

again, its hyperbole. If you had gone to college you'd probably recognize it a lot faster.

why didnt everyone stick around after app state came in here and kicked our arse on that sunday afternoon? that was more of an upset than the stony brook series was. please dont use the whole "because it got them to omaha" angle either. its the exact same thing. some little ol school came in a beat the big dog. does sportsman ship only apply in the postseason or does it apply for every game?

so i showed bad sportsmanship by leaving when the game was over and not cheering for stony brook???

No, I’ve got no problem with a person leaving after the game. I likely would have done the same. What I don’t get is being so angry at the people who DID stay to cheer Stony Brook. I can’t imagine that even bothering me and I was shocked people were upset the next day and I’m even more shocked people are obviously still pissed about it almost a week later. Y’all have some serious anger issues. Get a dog or something. It’ll help you relax.

I'll be more than happy to put my degree up against yours any time

You can say it was hyperbole now that you've been called on it. That's easy to do. Fact is, hyperbole or not you made a stupid analogy.

i have no anger issues and im quite relaxed. if you chose to stick around and do that then thats your choice, but i dont need someone saying that im a bad sport because i didnt stick around to cheer for a team that just beat the team that i cheer for.
