I stated yesterday that this had to play out to see how the LSU admin responded. We have our initial response.

Fact he wouldn’t come in, well take that for what it is as a sign.

It’s a sign that he doesn’t trust our idiot AD to keep his mouth shut. Frankly I don’t blame him

its looking grim I'd say....Lawyering up before even meeting with the board, not addressing the team. Not great....not great.

Per another thread, WW refused to attend the meeting on the advice of his atty. There is no client privilege involved and they could be subpoenaed to testify as to what was said. This is legal strategy, not a Frick You on WW's part. And JA, no rookie in dealing with legal matters, knew this. Legal strategy on his partas it gave him what he wanted, a reason to suspend WW and claim it was forced on him by WW.

They shouldn’t of called him in! Let the investigation play out. Why take the risk of him declining a meeting knowing if he potentially did they’d have to suspend him?

JA didn’t have to call the meeting though! Not his investigation to worry about at the moment with us entering as a potential #1 seed in the NCAA Tourney! JA is a frickin clown!

I still don't know what the frick a suspension does.

If you have something on him, fire him. If not, let him coach and show a united front. Suspending him is literally the worst course of action.

Here I am first year season ticket holder excited about where this team can go and the building blocks to even better heights and this is how it ends? Why support them. Next year they have to replace waters Reid bigby, and possibly others who transfer out. They will be back in the stone ages again trying to get talent to keep up with the well oiled machines of Kansas duke unc kentucky and others.

You think JA wanted to suspend WW? I highly doubt that. JA is an idiot and didn’t forecast this potential refusal by WW. Should of let it go and got us through the tourney first.

Why can't more people understand this?

Why can't the two at the top understand this and let it just play out?

Why can't Alleva ever learn from his mistakes?

To me that just says he didn’t hold a team meeting to talk to them about it. He could have sent a group message letting the guys know what was going on. While we are playing the guessing game, who’s to say he wasn’t told since he declined the meeting, not to meet with the players also.

Admin had no choice considering the poor choice of Wade & hidps attorney.

Afraid it looks like he did not to have to lie to them.

What a shame. A very good coach that just got impatient try to build a program. There is a pretty good movie on this scenario.

He couldn’t, so he sent a text to Nola.com. Read in thread above.

I’m guessing when he went in to see them he didn’t expect he’d be leaving the office a suspended coach.
