Doubletree Syracuse

Hi all. I am staying with my 12 yr old son and wife at the Doubletree Syracuse Friday and Saturday night. What are the best lots to tailgate in and how far is the Doubletree hotel from the tailgate lots? How much are the tailgate lots? I would like them close to the armory square area if possible. Thanks

Hello. This is a bit challenging since the tailgating lots are not really by armory square. What were you planning on doing at armory?
Skytop will be the only place for RVs and it sounds a lot of tiger fans will be there. That's by south campus, from carrier circle (the doubletree) it's about 15/20 min. Parking is $10 I think. Another option is under 81, Van buren st runs directly under it and I remember a few people tailgating there/the season holder lots up the street.

Ok thanks. Are there any bars near Skytop and how far is the walk to the carrier dome from SKytop? How early should we get there?

There are no bars by skytop, thats why its kind of tough. Maybe what you do is park at skytop, tailgate for a bit there, then take a free shuttle over to campus and see some stuff on the quad
