There is precedent for moving this, but it was for 9/11.
That said, you can't make moving it contingent upon whether LSU and/or UF needs the game. You would need to declare that in advance and put it in stone. And what if only one of the teams needs the game as it relates to the SECCG? I think if this is an option, you just do it, make LSU/UF be on 12/3, and move the SECCG back a week. At best it could give another team an extra week to prepare.
(And yes, I know that NFL teams only have 1 week to prepare for playoff games, dependent upon the outcomes of prior week games -- these are college kids we are talking about not pros.)
