Dooley, Richt get Passes but Miles Crucified

When LSU beats Florida, all the haters will suddenly be all back on the bandwagon.

I don't know what media you're listening to but they are calling for Richt's head in GA.

Also, you have to kind of understand the concern surrounding Miles' coaching ability when for the the third time in 8 or 9 games his clock management has cost or almost cost us a game. It's not difficult to resolve this nonsense in practice. Clock running, no timeouts, -40 seconds....run a play immediately or stop the clock. Pretty simple.

It's the manner in which the clock was utilized at the end of the game. Had LSU lost and it not come down to clock mismanagement yet again (i.e. we don't complete the 4th and 14), this game would not be receiving much attention.

Just 2 hours north of you we are hearing very little of that sentiment.

alright TenTex! the media sells viewership and really doesn't give much of a hooter damn about accuracy (as long as it's not so bad they get fired). they're pretty much picking up a theme that they view as entertaining, tabloid style. you know, the woman that claims she was impregnated by the two headed alien type story. sadly, people (viewers) buy into that stuff and the truth becomes a nonissue. miles comes across poorly because of his sluggish, difficult to understand speech patterns. when he won the national championship, the media was very high on him and thought, as most did, that miles was witty. now, after making some very visible gaff's, witty turns to bumbling. it's all about perception. also, dooley is basically a media nobody so they think noone wants to hear about his screw ups. i doubt richt is newsworthy either as he is boring as hell and who cares about a 1-4 team. so miles is newsworthy and he is getting embarassed nationally because of his inability to handle time situations late in close games. unfortuntely for him, he was branded last year in the ole miss game. that brand will never go away now (my opinion) because everyone makes mistakes and he will make more of them.

You all really believe we beat Fla. in the swamp after Bama took them to the wood shed last Sat.? How are we going to score? Maybe Jasper with 3 field goals.
