Donte Jackson...Anyone have any intel on how he looked this summer?

He came on really strong last season but I've been concerned about the suspension.

Appears to be our starting outside cornerback when we are in nickle or dime packages...

I don't know about lately, but I agree he came on strong late last season. IMO he was playing the best corner of the three starters. I know some people may think that's wild, but from the tape and games I saw.. he was.
He seems to be doing great according to the depth

Was told by an offensive player he was very impressive in 7v7s. Specifically that would sit on every route bc he had the makeup speed to recover.
Was hard to get open against him.
Sounding like he must have improved on his footwork and technique. Last season IMO his only weakness was separation in and out of breaks on short to intermediate routes. He always had speed/ball skills down the field and I didn't notice him struggling to gett off blocks or go after ball carriers in the open field.

he's so fast that he makes other fast players look....not fast.

Why leave your best cover corner on the sideline when in base 3-4?
It'll be just like tyrann in 11: starts outside slides inside in nickel (not saying tyrann was our #1 cover guy)
