He also fair caught the ball at the 5 yard line once, which has happened so many times this year with two different players that it has to be coaching

He looked best when he forced a fumble, recovered it, and ran it in for a touchdown (negated by Paris's defensive holding call). Looked just like Tyrann Mathieu. We need that sort of dynamism on defense.

At least he fair caught the ball and didn't muff it or try to scoop it off the ground. Rather sacrifice the field position and just play solid fundamentals without mistakes.
