Unless you got a qb that is top of the draft material, you need WR that can get open and actually catch poorly thrown balls.

But yeah, we shouldn't have been excited about Jarvis or Odell.

And for the most part, fans are happy when a kid decides they want to play for their school, no matter the position. Fans who aren't are just miserable arse holes.

Agree I'm sure the ga tech faithful weren't bitching when they got Damarious(spelling) Thomas. Stockpiling talent is always a good thing even if you can't get em the ball you're keeping that talent out of other teams hands.

You should worry about defense in regards to LSU having a successful year.

Top 5-10 scoring D we are in the thick of the playoff race, 20+ scoring D another disappointing season. regardless of how the offense performs.

That 2010 team went 11-2 and was in every game w JJ having an absolutely horrendous season (8 gm stretch w/out TD). The 2013 team went 10-3 with a 3000yd passer, 2 1000 yd receivers, and a 1000 yd rusher.

now of course Harris playing well will make things much easier, but he should be more than capable of getting us to the playoffs if our D plays as expected. That's just how it's been under miles, our defense sets the tone and we will live or die by it.

This is whats so laughable. Our qbs struggle because of the complexity of the prostyle offense, not because it simple. Simple offenses are like Auburn and Oregon where they run the same play 50% of the time.

Also, our offense has been good 2 of the last years.

2015 we were 11th in the country in offensive yards per play.
2013 we were 12th in offensive yards per play.

2015 we were 4th in the sec in offensive yards per game
2015 we were 3rd in the sec in offensive points per game

The only thing we need on offense is to be more efficient passing the ball.

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?

youre joking right? Our 2015 offense lacked efficiency. That something that can be easily accomplished with more experience. You act like thats some huge scheme problem.

I'm just telling you what he meant. And our offense is not complex at all. It doesn't need to be we are smash mouth football and our passing game is very simple lots of times we have 2 man routes going out there. But I don't think scheme is the main problem we just need the qb to execute better. Mett was great in 2014 not miles fault we had Jennings and he just wasn't sec material last year Harris played better but was still a first year starter. I think well see him make a jump this season.

The passing game isn't we dont use tes we are mostly max protection under center. We don't run underneath crossing g or zig routs. I know we have em in the play book but admittedly miles pre approves plays before games and the qb has no check freedom. You can't honestly believe we run a pro style passing game you're way to smart to think that.
