We have the best corner in college football 3 years in a row .. why even think about playing offense? With

Stingley and Ricks we are solid. Flott is still developing.

How about let’s focus on winning football games and not individual awards

Especially after last season.

Winning games should be the highest priority.

Yes. We need a rebound from last years defense. But also instill One Team, One Heartbeat for sure.

Don't we have enough talent from our receivers this year? Alex Adams, Kayshon Boutte, Jenkins, Palmer, Moore and Kirkland.

I'd rather that.

He was promised he would play on offense. They were going to do it his first year but his dad said no. He told them to wait a year or two before they played him on offense

ETA People can down vote all you want but that is what happened. My source is his dad.

My first thought too. Some of you posters have a real hard time with fact vs fiction. Fun to imagine, but won’t happen!

I'm sure that if he knew you had such feelings, then he would just play defense.

This was explicitly something he set out to do and was promised when he signed. They've said his junior year he's playing both ways since he got here.

My biggest concern is injury, but you can't be mad for putting the best player on the field.

I don't think he plays on offense, but I wouldn't mind seeing him play some snaps here and there. I doubt he would ever be an every down receiver.

He was injured last season. Why expose him to more physical contact.

Boutte definitely stepped up last year. All are solid though. Just need the opportunity.

Hes not playing offense

He had trouble staying healthy last year and is likely to be a top 5-10 pick in 2022. Zero chance he risks injury playing offense.

I remember him saying this as well. More recently when Stingley Sr. was doing his weekly segment on OTB, he said he'd rather him focus on defense. I don't think we'll see him on Offense.

If Stingley helps us do that by getting more reps in the game, then I’m all for it. He’s a tremendous athlete.

I think we will but it wont be but a few plays pergame at most. People are acting like he will play every down both ways.
