Dogs at the Baseball Game

I see a hell of a lot of dogs in the baseball park at Missouri...is that a normal thing there or is this something special?...

Announcers said it was a Sunday thing and confined to one area of stands down right field line.

I love dogs, but taking them out in an uncontrolled, public situation is asking for trouble. Especially if you have a large and /or very energetic dog.
