Do you really think there is enough national interest in who wears #18 at lsu? Oh, nevermid, you probably do.

I'd say Jennings or Jamal if they are allowed too. Maybe Dural.

Good god, what an overstatement!! Many schools have a "number" tradition. Hell, Ole Miss' Chucky Mullins' "38" tradition is much more powerful, since he died due to a football injury suffered at Ole Miss.

I'm all for traditions, but our "18" certainly doesn't strike me as one of the best in the nation, not even remotely close.

I wasn't the poster who asked your age, but I see his point.

The "18" tradition is actually quite young (started with Matt Mauck about 10 years ago, I believe). As traditions go, this one is in its infancy.

For you to think it's one of the best in the nation, your perspective must be skewed, and could best be explained by being a young person who hasn't been around enough to understand the much stronger, time-honored traditions of numerous other colleges.

Most important traditions are many decades old and become ingrained throughout generations of fans.

Just curious if there are any odds out there. I think it is the best tradition in all of college football. Seems like Jamie Keehn and Jalen Mills would have the best odds. Just curious.

Vegas cares about making money. Putting odds and taking bets on this would make them money.

Do you think they care how long the national anthem is in the super bowl?

Did you just try to justify the stupidity of the OP?

I'll try to be nice - No, Vegas does not put odds on #18

Bro. the tradition has been around about 10 years. Vegas bets on stuff that earns millions of dollars, not stuff that earns a couple hundred.

I'm gonna talk to my boys on the team and tell them all to vote for the one guy I put 10 million on.

Yeah, sure Vegas, what could go wrong with this prop bet?

You realize that just about every school with any kind of tradition has the same or similar traditions within their football program?

They do.

you can find it between the walkup songs of our baseball players and the results of my 6 year old daughters' soccer games.
