Dave Aranda is rumored to be good friends with Tom Herman.
We are already in contact with Tom Herman's Agent.
Major Applewhite is Tom Herman's OC.
Major Applewhite is from Baton Rouge, LA.

Major is not from BTR. Moved here in middle school from North Carolina. Grew up a huge bama fan and hated LSU. Don't know if that's changed since then, but he's still not exactly home grown.

Assuming we do have a shot at Herman, it makes me wonder if a long play was here. I had heard last season that Miles would retire after this season regardless. Did Aranda come down and did we already have communication with Herman. Just an off the wall thought.
