Does these two injuries change your projection of how this team does?

This could be huge injuries for Bama/Arkansas. I think we are ok in all the other games

No, In the grand scheme of things we can plug these holes. If it was Fournette, Adams or Beckwith I wouldn't be saying the same. We've got bodies at OLB and on the DL, just gotta get some of them up to speed a little quicker.

What's the general report out of washington's prognosis?

Yes, but not drastically. We went from GREAT depth to average depth. Lacouture was going to play huge amounts of snaps for us and Washington is a bigger loss than people realize. He was going to spell Arden Key a good bit and has a similar skill set to him. We are now going to rely a lot more on freshmen in these spots.

Also, your grasp of the English language is top notch.

It's a huge deal for sure & has shaken up our line which has been set for a few months now.

Then we are going to have to count on Valentine which is scary. Losing a guy (LaC)with so many starts under his belt is a blow

Not ready to say it will cost us a game but I hope they can get things settled before the meat of our schedule

I think 'way better' is a stretch. Solid player none the less

Depends on whether or not you think a football team can play defense without a line.

No they don't. Isiah isn't a huge loss at all this season and while CL is a great ball player we have guys coming in that are more physically gifted then he is. Not to mention we have the best DLine coach in the country.

CL is a solid DT, but he's not s W/L altering DT. Projection is still SEC championship.

Yeah. Depth is key in Nov. Probably less so this year than last, but this will impact things. No doubt.

The SEC averages 70 offensive plays per game, so 3 or 4 D lineman will have to be on the field for 70 plays. If you play a two deep rotation, that's still 35 plays a game per player. Losing a seasoned, leader will definitely impact the depth in early games. Maybe as the season progresses, the two big Freshmen can step in, but it will be a challenge early. This is where the offense needs to step up early on so we can play with a nice lead.

No all this means for me is that Lawrence and Alexander are going to have to come along faster than originally expected.
