Does the 1st Team OL work against the 1st Team DL in practice?

If so you would think the OL would be better.

Every practice that I have attended they work individual until 1 on 1 pass rush. During this time, yes the ones go up against the ones. Then, depending on the week, they go team period ones on ones..very briefly.

Very limited team one OL against team one DL during practice. More individual drills like previous poster posted. Don't want too many unwanted injuries at practice.

By this logic, the Saints should have one of the best defenses in the league as well.

Im sure going against tough competition in practice helps, but it isnt going to all of a sudden make you as good as them.

I have been asking this for two weeks with no response. I think lsu's d line has to be top 10 for sure. If the line can do well against them they should do well against most.

I've made mention to this very thing in another post. Mett may get killed in this game due to the lack of pass protection.
