I just don't think he played that well today. Maybe it is because I am pissed he drove the the basket so much.

He's improved the last few weeks of the season and became more of a driver and better passer after missing multiple games.

He is 5'9, he will never be a good driver. His passing and defense has been better, but he needs to work on other aspects of his game(shooting).

So we played nearly toe to toe with the best team in the country because Storm Warren's 14 points?

Disagree, he may never be a good finisher, but he can break down a defensive with penetration from the wing.

Agreed. Just don't see the point of this thread banging on him after the game. He tried to do too much late in the game, but scoring wasn't coming from anywhere else.

He had 2 turnovers in the game. 11 points, 3 reb, 2 assists, 4 steals. He is undersized but he plays better than fans give him credit for.

I'm assuming you mean today only. If not, I would refer you to his FG splits and let you decipher how they are better than what he gets credit for.

Yea I agree. Poor choice of words on my part. I am not trying to bash him I am just frustrated with his driving and getting blocked at least 4 times today. I think next year he will probably come off the bench. I think that will fit his style much better.

I think those 14 points helped a great deal. I also think we had other players contributing today.

Yeah, those players were Hickey, Turner to some extent before fouling out, and, wait for it, Stringer.

You must be the dumbest motherfricker on the planet to read what I wrote and not get what I was talking about.* Then again, this is the rant so yeah you probably are just dumb.

*Hint: it was the better than he gets credit for, jackass.

ETA: Yet you can post decent analysis like this
quote:

Missed a ton of shots that we couldn't afford to miss in this game. Played excellent defense, just didn't have the horses and length to compete at times. Great play by Hickey today, overall. The free throw differential was a killer. Storm played very well and deserved a few more trips to the line but wasn't getting the calls. Unlike most of the rant, as evidence from the threads post-game, I knew this was a game that we would be lucky to even be in. We were in, and we played well. Just couldn't get our shots to fall today.

You must be rainman or something.

Why so defensive?

Stringer has not gotten better after 2 years. Neither has Turner. FACT

You asked him if he was talking about this season. His statistical line was evidence enough that he wasn't.

It was the better than he gets credit for? Yeah, but I'm dumb.

You are fricking monumentally stupid in this case. But, to each his own. I've seen that you are at least functional enough to have good analysis when you bother to read what is written. I will chalk this up to you being a defensive douche who didn't read and is now just trying to bullshite his way through a stupid mistake. Probably just a tad defensive because LSU did play well but came up short. It is all good

Saying fact in caps doesn't solidify it as truth, no matter how much you would like it to be so.

They've improved overall IMO because both have improved defensively and at times, taking it to the basket. Stringer more so than Turner. Turner just lacks that burst of quickness to make defenders honest.

And I'm not being defensive, just not sure the relevance considering we're talking about the game today and you're going off on a tangent about their player over the course of two seasons.

I wish I could put flashing lights on this so you would get it. I'm not sure why you can't get this. Again, I will chalk it up to just you reading quickly and not getting it and subsequently being stubborn for reasons only known to you.

ETA: Not sure why you are carrying EWJ's water anyway.

No Turner just floats through most games with no aggression.

Stubborn about what? I thought your post earlier was stupid, and stated as much. And you've spent your last five posts crying about it. Get over it.
