Back when USCw was making its last run at being prominent & Skip & the Tigers were the fan favorite up there, the long time coach for the Trojans, Ron DeDeaux mabe, complained on a local radio station that it was not fair, LSU had the support of all the locals & had the homefield advantage in every game. His comments were ridiculed by the locals, one writing a letter to the editor saying the day USCw brings more than 200 fans, we locals will mabe pull for them when not playing LSU.
