Oh really? Like what?
Look at the 8 teams that have made the CFB playoffs over the last two seasons and tell me what types of QB they have. Then look at the Heisman ballots over the last 6 years and tell me what types of QB you see there.
If your QB is a threat to run AND throw, you have a tremendous advantage in CFB. This is what the FACTS prove.

I read on Twitter yesterday that Neatherly is interested in LSU because he can have a shot at playing qb. That was from Gaylor Hamm though.

It's completely false. He's a WR all the way and he knows that.

Would much rather have a DL or a LB
I hear you and feel the need presently for defensive players but what if the QB Martell, who decommitted first, and the WR are committed to playing together(i.e.seeing that the WR decommitted shortly after the QB decommitted)?
And considering that verbally committed players , not necessarily the ones we already have, have a tendency to waver why not put out investigative feelers and if positive issue offers to both players and have them consider playing together at LSU?
If the coaching staff finds out the QB is personality challenged LSU can always cancel offer on QB. No harm done between parties.

The more we get to make us a better team, the better the competition.

What good would it to bring them in? History shows us that the offense wouldn't make use of their skill sets so it'd be another wasted roster spot.

I love when old dudes get on here hating on dual threats and they don't even realize we had dual threats in 03 and 07.

I'm glad we can be selective at quarterback after these recent heisman winners.

He won't play QB here. WR all the way if he signs. And yeah DL, LB and a true LT prospect are greater needs.

But seriously why the hell do dual threat qbs keep coming here with Miles' terribe track record with development and utilizing their strengths?
Oh you mean like JJ who is the career and Single season qb rushing record holder? You people do realize you can look this shite up before posting ignorant shite, right?
