certainly have a chance... Penn St. went 7-5 last year and have a chance to win the big 10 and sneak in the playoff this year..

Realistically we looked like a totally different team when O took over. We should have never lost to that horrible Florida team and we're
the only team to give Bama a good game at least on D. No reason to think this team couldn't be special next year! Everyone here expressing negativity toward the future of the program knows this to be true but would rather be proven wrong than to stay positive and be let down once again.

As always, it depends on line play on both sides of the ball. I expect very good Dline production, so it will come down to the Oline against the 3/4 good defenses they'll face.

Of course there is a chance, but it will be hard for LSU to win the SEC and have less than two losses overall.

The standard for tier 2 schools like LSU will be a conference title, minimum, with 0 or 1 loss...

So no. With five away SEC games next year (thanks Alleva) I just don't see it.

Why do some of the people on this board want LSU to lose or get excited to say were not gonna win ...i don't understand it..dont you like ur team and lean towards thinking we're gonna win or have a good season...its like there happy when we lose..i really wish all of you negative miserable fricks would go somewhere and quit bringing down the positivity that a lot of us have

It seems to provide them some bizarre sense of importance or pleasure.

Damn, I'm sorry. I just realized what's going on..i should respect my elders, I know. I just now figured out why there are people on here that are so negative and miserable. Its cuz y'all are all at least 90 years old . I just thought about it ,I guess y'all will be gone soon and finally be happy to be off this shite world we live in, and this shite team we watch, and all these little punks that walk threw ur yard and leave there foot prints In the grass.

Based on what I've seen from Coach O so far, I don't think so. What was with the decision to offer a scholarship to a five star qb who is starting school at another school in about 4 weeks? And in the process he's alienated one of the most promising QB recruits we've had in recent memory. Brilliant. Two birds with one stone.

What's comical is that you're too busy ranting at the "old folks" to realize you don't have a damn clue. I ALWAYS want the Tigers to win, but based on what I've seen so far from our new staff I'm having a hard time conjuring up some fake enthusiasm for the damn sake of appeasing a sniveling jackass like yourself.

Next year we play at Bama, at Florida, at Ole Miss, and at Tennessee. We also play at Moo State. We play BYU in Houston to open the season (no idea what they will be like).

Given this schedule, the losses on defense and the fact that we will have a first year OC I do not think the playoff is reasonable.

ETA: This is not a knock on the program. No team will be playoff worthy every year.
