Does losing Dare change your outlook for season?

Very thin on OL line now

No team still has talent just young talent. Just glad that it happened now and not the week before UCLA or someone else.

yes. OL was already the weak point of the team for the past couple years even with the joe moore award. Now its a question mark and the talent level is lower. 10-2 ceiling imo

Yes, OLine was already a weak point of the team and Dare is one of your 2 best OLineman along with Ingram. Just weakens the team even more.

5 years into a program, hopefully we have some guys developed and ready to go in cases like this

it kinda makes me think Max J is now a stone cold lock to start at QB

Yes. A QB with the best wheels just became more important.
Looking at you Max. But Max, look behind you because Nuss has better wheels than you.

No he was pretty much a swinging gate at LT
Posted on 6/28/21 at 2:35 pm to saturncube21
Not really. I wasn't sold on him playing the whole season anyway. Just let the next guy get his reps and be done with it.

At least it happened now instead of in the middle of fall camp

I think it changes my view on starting QB maybe more than anything. If we cant get a reliable replacement at LT, it might be Max by default since he's a lefty (can see the pressure coming much easier) and is obviously more mobile. Still think for us to have a very successful offensive season we cant have a mediocre to bad Oline though. Just cant lose up front as often as we did last year.

Y’all must have forgot how much Cam Wire played last year. I think we will be fine as long as everyone progressed.

No but it will give the O in crowd a good excuse if we win less than 8 games again

More than that, he is a lefty. So Deculus is now your blind side blocker.

It also about depth. We are not very deep on the oline.

Expected him to miss at least 4 games anyway

He played a good bit, but it was a pretty big dropoff from Dare to him at LT.

He wasn’t that good to begin with so no
